➤ Who are Molina Medicare plans for?
Molina Medicare plans are mainly for people with both Medicare and Medicaid. Many are Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) designed to coordinate both programs. Eligibility rules vary, so check whether you qualify for Medicaid in your state and whether Molina offers a plan in your county.
➤ Is Molina offered in my county?
Check Medicare Plan Finder for 2027 by entering your ZIP code. Molina’s Medicare plans are offered only in certain states and counties, and availability can change each year. You can also contact Molina directly or ask your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for free help.
➤ What is a D-SNP?
A D-SNP, or Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan, is a Medicare Advantage plan that coordinates Medicare and Medicaid. To join, you generally need both Medicare and Medicaid, and you must live in the plan’s service area. D-SNPs may include extra benefits, but not all plans offer all benefits.
➤ When can I enroll in a Molina Medicare Advantage plan for 2027?
Annual Enrollment runs October 15 to December 7, 2026, with coverage starting January 1, 2027. If you are already in Medicare Advantage, you can also make one change from January 1 to March 31, 2027.
➤ What happens if my Medicare Advantage plan is ending?
You will get a non-renewal notice, and your coverage continues through December 31, 2026. You can choose a new plan during Annual Enrollment or a Special Enrollment Period, and you generally have a guaranteed issue right to buy certain Medigap plans.
➤ Do Molina D-SNPs include Part D drug coverage?
Yes, Special Needs Plans, including Molina’s D-SNPs, include Part D drug coverage. If you have Medicaid, you also automatically qualify for Extra Help, which can lower your drug premiums, deductibles and copays. Check each plan’s drug list to confirm your prescriptions are covered for 2027.
➤ Do Molina Medicare plans include dental and vision?
Many Molina Medicare plans may include dental, vision and hearing benefits, but not all plans offer all benefits. Original Medicare does not cover routine dental, routine vision or eyeglasses, or hearing aids. Review each plan’s 2027 Summary of Benefits for coverage limits and networks before you enroll.
